It's Almost Over

Maybe one of these days I'll enjoy the holidays. Not sure when that will be but I hope it will happen at some point.

I know there are lots of things I should be thankful for, in fact I am very glad for many things, but the holidays are not one of them. I am looking forward to tomorrow though. I'm leaving in the morning for New Jersey to see my sister, her husband and her two boyd (17 and 10). I cannot wait. I've never been up there at this time of year (during the holidays). The holidays were a lot better before they moved up there (guess it's been 4-5 years now). At least my sister and the boys made it a little better.

I'll be coming back on New Year's Day so it's a longer visit than I usually get to have. We're not going to the city (New York) this time. That's a good thing. My Year!

Everyone be safe!!!

Momma Needs A New Pair Of Shoes

Well I was invited to go to a Texas Hold 'Em charity event this evening so Chris and I went. I have never played before but I like to watch it on TV. Watching and playing are a little different. Anyway, I was playing on a table and ended up winning. I had already won a Tony Stewart baseball hat (I already had won one in another raffle so I gave it away) in a raffle during the game, and then when I won they gave me a $100 gift certificate to FYE (I guess it's a record store in the ball). Then, the first place winners from the 6 tables played for the final winner. Guess what? Yep, I won. I got 4 tickets to see the Atlanta Hawks vs. Miami Heat and a parking pass in March. The tickets are on the club level so I am sure they are good seats and are probably expensive tickets. The bad news is, I don't like basketball. The good news is, I won. I'll probably give them away - who knows.

It was exciting to win though especially with it being my first time playing. Beginners luck I guess.

Not too much else going on right now. Fixin to go to bed so I'll let you guys go now.

Later.

Mr. Hankey

Biddie just reminded me about Mr. Hankey when she mentioned she like the Dancing Pooh (dancing Pooh-hee hee hee) from Marni's Soulja boy (with Winnie the Pooh). For those of you who don't know about Mr. Hankey - or South Park for that matter, please do not be offended. It takes a different kind of person to appreciate Mr. Hankey.

Hope you enjoy.
